JAMMU: JK Educational Society celebrated Teachers’ Day at Blue Moon Banquet Hall. The day was celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of great educationist and 2nd President of India, Dr. Saravapalli Radhakrishnan. All Educational institutions under the aegis of JK Educational Society participated in the programme.
The function was presided over by the Chairman JK Educational Society Raj Daluja, Patron Davinder Daluja, Neelam Daluja, Member of Management, Gautam Daluja, Mr.& Mrs. Rohmetra, Brig Sukhdev Singh, Vice Chairperson JK Public School Panjtirthi, Anju Jamwal, Principal JK Public School Panjtirthi Suman Banbah, Principal JK Public School Kunjwani, Rajesh Rathore, Vice Principal Roopinder Kour, School Coordinator Inderjeet Kour, Academic Coordinator Parvinder Kour, Primary Wing Coordinator Anju Raj and Toddlers’ World Coordinator Shivangani Pandotra.
The celebration commenced with a warm welcome by the Director, Shashi Chaudhary, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers for their unwavering dedication which was followed by the felicitation of the Wing Coordinators, School Coordinators, Vice Principals, and Principals , acknowledging their pivotal roles in the institution’s success.
The event further preceeded with the address of Suman Banbah, Principal JK Public School, Panjthirthi, she thanked management for being kind and courteous. Principal Rajesh Rathore also addressed the audience, sharing words of encouragement and emphasizing the importance of the teacher-student relationship.
The day’s festivities included a special Felicitations Ceremony honouring teachers from every wing of the school by their respective wing coordinators to celebrate their hard work and dedication in nurturing the students.
The Teachers awarded were Arti Dhawan, Parvinder Kaur, Suman Thappa, Mukesh Kumar, Sushma Sharma, Rajni Gupta, Monika Sharma, Shallu Gupta, Elizha Sotra, Manoj Solanki from JKPS Kunjwani, Amrik Singh from JK College of Education, Sunita Kapoor and Rajesh from JKPS Panjtirthi. Special mention was Ramandeep kour from JKPS Kunjwani.
This was followed by a beautiful welcome song performed by Neelam Bhardwaj, which added a touch of melody to the occasion. The cultural program took the audience on a nostalgic journey through the decades, with performances inspired by different eras.
The Senior Wing presented a dynamic tribute to the era of 1960’s and 70’s, showcasing music and style from that period. The JKPS Panjtirthi teachers energized the stage with performances reflecting the era of 1970’s and 80’s.
Amidst the vibrant cultural displays, the audience was also treated to a delightful session of games, led by Amit and Munish, that had the crowd laughing and engaging in friendly competition. These moments of joy and camaraderie symbolized the warmth and community spirit that embodies Educational Society. The Toddler Wing charmed the audience with an adorable depiction of the dance performance prevalent in 1980’s and 90’s, bringing smiles all around. As the celebration progressed, the Preparatory Wing gave a stunning dance performance inspired by the songs of 90’s and 2000 era, showcasing their talent and passion. One of the highlights of the event was the unique Poem and Dance performance led by Mamta and Meera, which deeply resonated with the audience.
The program reached its climax with a captivating Ramp Walk by the Middle Wing, celebrating the spirit of the modern era.
The event culminated with a soul-stirring musical performance by the Music Department, whose melodious tunes brought the celebrations to a tranquil and joyous close.
As the notes filled the air, the audience was reminded once again of the incredible talents nurtured within the walls of JK Educational Society. Best attires and performances were also judged and felicitated. The Celebrations culminated with a sumptuous lunch.
