Fitnessgram, IISM team meet Kalra

JAMMU, Sept 20: A joint team from Fitnessgram and the International Institute of Sports Management (IISM) Mumbai, including Aman Kumar, Parth Pandya, Karan Mange and Kinjal Mehta, met with prominent sports administrator Ranjeet Kalra to discuss potential collaborations.
The discussions aimed to explore the launch of various sports management, fitness and health programs targeted at coaches and athletes, particularly students under 18 years of age in Jammu and Kashmir. This initiative is vital for promoting physical fitness and sports education in the region.
Fitnessgram, which has received endorsements from notable figures like Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar and former India cricketer Nilesh Kulkarni, is based on a scientifically validated fitness assessment program developed in the USA by Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper, recognized as the “Father of Aerobics.”
During the meeting, the visiting team also presented Ranjeet Kalra with an IISM “Sports Heroes National Anthem Souvenir,” symbolizing the collaboration and commitment to fostering sports and fitness initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir.
