Rahul to address rallies in Poonch, Sgr on Sept 23

JAMMU, Sept 20: Former All India Congress Committee president and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi will address election rallies in Poonch and Srinagar on Sept 23.
A party spokesman said that star campaigner of Congress Party, Rahul Gandhi (LOP), will arrive Jammu airport in a special plane from Delhi on Monday, from where he will reach Surankote town of district Poonch in a helicopter and address first election rally, in support of Congress-NC alliance candidate and AICC secretary, Shahnawaz Choudhary at 11 am on Monday.

After rally at Surankote, Gandhi will fly over to Srinagar in the same helicopter and address election rally in support of JKPCC president and alliance candidate, Tariq Hameed Karra at 1.30 pm at Zainakote, in Central Sheltang (Batamaloo) Assembly constituency of Srinagar.
National Conference president and former J&K Chief Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah is likely to address the Zainakote rally on Monday, the spokesman said.
