GOC reviews security in Rajouri sector

RAJOURI, Oct 18: Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, today held a comprehensive security review meeting in Kalakote, Rajouri sector, to assess the current security scenario and operational preparedness in the region.
He was accompanied by GOC of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo), underscoring the Army’s commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the area.

During the meeting, Lt Gen Sachdeva closely reviewed the operational strategies being implemented by the security forces in Kalakote and neighboring areas. He expressed his appreciation for the unwavering commitment and dedication demonstrated by all ranks towards maintaining peace and security in this strategically sensitive region. The GOC emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant and prepared to counter any challenges that may arise, particularly in view of recent developments in the region.
The GOC took stock of the coordination between security forces and the civil administration, reaffirming the Army’s resolve to work in synergy with other stakeholders to uphold the security interests of the region.
The visit to Kalakote is part of a series of security reviews being conducted by the GOC White Knight Corps at various key locations. Similar meetings have been held in DKG, Nowshera, Changar and other areas, where Lt Gen Sachdeva reviewed the security preparedness, operational efficiency and the morale of the troops stationed across these critical sectors.
The GOC White Knight Corps commended the tireless efforts of the troops in maintaining a secure environment, which is pivotal for the progress and development of the region. He further urged the forces to continue their high level of preparedness and maintain the highest standards of professionalism in their duties.
