JAMMU, Nov 21: Dr Narinder Singh, MLA from RS Pura-Jammu South Constituency, along with Baldev Singh Billawaria, former Deputy Mayor Jammu, kick started the development works worth Rs 24 lakh in Ward number 56 Gangyal.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Narinder Singh said that most of this ward 56, Gangyal was in bad condition earlier and it was very difficult to develop it but due to the efforts of former Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria, now this ward is the cleanest in terms of cleanliness and development can be seen all around here. The MLA said that Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is doing commendable work to develop each and every corner of the urban area.
Dr Narinder Singh said that many exemplary measures have been taken to improve the living standards of the people in the area and for this purpose Modi Government has provided funds under various developments to develop each and every corner in a better way. He said that the first priority is being given to the provision of adequate drinking water, water facilities, better electricity, medical facilities and basic amenities along with better lanes and drains to the people. He said that BJP is the only party which believes in ensuring holistic development of every area and the Government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi works on the basic mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas”.
Highlighting the achievements of Ward 56 Gangyal, former Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria said that Ward 56 Gangyal has made a lot of progress towards development in the area. Roads, installation of new transformers, replacement of old drinking water pipes, construction of Atal Park Gangyal, construction of 50-bed Gangyal Hospital, construction of deep drains and other works were given priority.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP District President Rekha Mahajan urged the party workers to give more momentum to the membership drive campaign and connect more and more people to the party.
BJP Mandal President Ranjeet Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Ajay Partap Singh, Raj Kumar, Sohan Singh Katal, Suresh Motan, Uttam Chib, Yash Raj, Suresh Mishra and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
