68th NSG U-17 Girls Football: Pre-Quarterfinal matches held

JAMMU, Dec 8: The battle for supremacy intensifies as the quarterfinals lineup has been drawn in the 68th National School Games U-17 Girls Football Championship, being held at Sainik School Nagrota.
After the completion of league matches this morning, the pre-quarterfinals saw fierce competition as the strongest teams displayed excellent soccer skills, securing their places in the next stage. The teams advancing to the quarterfinals include Jharkhand, Gujarat, Manipur, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Rajasthan.
In the pre-quarterfinals, Jharkhand defeated Chhattisgarh by 10-0, while Gujarat triumphed over Tripura by 4-3 in a penalty shootout. Manipur beat Punjab by 2-1, Tamil Nadu overcame Odisha by 2-0, and Haryana won by 1-0 against Bihar. Maharashtra secured a 4-2 victory over KVS, West Bengal won by 5-4 against Kerala in penalties, and Rajasthan thrashed IPSC by 4-0.
