JAMMU: The J&K Weightlifting Association is all set to organize the Youth, Junior, and Senior Men and Women Championship at the Indoor Sports Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar, here from December 19 to 21.
The championship will witness participation of over 100 athletes across various weight categories from different districts of J&K.
“Different committees have been formed to ensure smooth conduct. This time, the Association has extended invite to former weightlifters and promoters of the sport,” said Yudhvir Singh, General Secretary of the Association.
Meanwhile, veteran weightlifters have congratulated Yudhvir Singh on being elected as the Treasurer of the J&K Olympic Association.
