Swaraj Yoga Institute hosts Graduation Ceremony for YTT

JAMMU, Dec 18: The Swaraj Yoga Institute & Wellness Retreats, located in the tranquil village of Dharamkot, Himachal Pradesh, is known for its immersive teacher training programs that blend ancient yogic wisdom with modern techniques. The institute offers internationally certified yoga instructor programs aimed at holistic growth, self-discovery, and wellness.
Today, the institute, in collaboration with the Indian Yoga Association (IYA), hosted a significant graduation ceremony for the Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program at their Jammu branch. The ceremony marked the completion of a 27-day Hatha Yoga Certificate course, which was a part of a 200-hour YTT program. The graduates, from diverse backgrounds, received dual certification from the Indian Yoga Association (IYA) and Yoga Alliance, further enhancing their credentials as certified yoga instructors.
The event was attended by family, friends and mentors, who gathered to celebrate the graduates’ dedication and transformative journey. The ceremony included speeches from Anil Swaraj, the Founder of Swaraj Yoga Institute, and Dr. Shreyansh Jain, the Chairman of IYA’s UT-J&K Chapter. The event also featured chanting of Vedic mantras and a closing meditation led by Sanjeev Pandey.
Dr. Shreyansh Jain expressed his admiration for the graduates’ evolution into confident yoga instructors, emphasizing the global potential of their teachings. Ashok Gupta, Vice President of IYA (UT-J&K), highlighted the growing demand for certified yoga professionals in the region, noting that such courses contribute significantly to addressing this need.
The newly certified teachers include Purvie Gupta, Vikas Kumar, Rakesh Verma, Balwinder Kumar, Abishak Sharma, Aaina Bairagi, Taniya Kaith, Gurleen Kaur and Surjit Singh. Several graduates shared their personal journeys and the profound impact the teacher training had on their physical, mental, and spiritual evolution.
