AGARTALA, Dec 22: To achieve desired goals towards technology implementation across the board in all states of the nation, uniform e-Governance standards are very important.
This was claimed by Amit Sharma, Spl Secretary Information & Communications Technology (ICT) and Cooperation (Independent Charge), Mizoram.
Amit was attending two days State-Level Awareness Workshop and CBT on e-Governance Standards and Guidelines in Agartala, Tripura and was invited as a Special Guest during the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Amit emphasised that these kinds of workshops must be held on a regular basis especially in North Eastern states, which are constantly pushing towards implementing e-Governance reforms.
He also appreciated the support of MieTY Director Santosh Pandey, who represented the IT Ministry here and he gave his valuable inputs towards bringing uniformity in e-Governance Standards and Guidelines for their effective implementation all across the nation.
Sharma also shared various perspectives relating to Standarization of e-Governance Standards and Guidelines, which is one of the important subsets of Ek Bharat – whole of Government convergence project as a part of ongoing IT-related reforms all across the nation.
The CDAC team led by Karimullah Shaik, Scientist G, C-DAC Pune declared that the next series of this Workshop shall be held in Aizawl, capital of Mizoram, within next couple of months.
