JAMMU, Jan 4: SHRD Public School here today celebrated its 8th Annual Day with fervour.
The event was marked by vibrant performance and enthusiastic participation from the students, showcasing their diverse talents and creativity under the guidance and supervision of Chairman SHRD School, Sant Sri Hare Ram Das Ji Maharaj, who has dedicated his life for the up-liftment of weaker sections of the society.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of ceremonial lamp, symbolizing wisdom and prosperity and this was followed by a devotional invocation.
Principal of the School, Prof. Aekta Gupta presented a detail annual report of the School and emphasized the initiatives taken by the institute for holistic development of students.
The chief guest was Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP who lauded School’s efforts in shaping students into good citizens of the nation.
He emphasized the role of education in building a strong and progressive society.
The event was further graced by the presence of dignitaries including Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu; Surinder Bhagat, MLA Marh; Sat Sharma, State president BJP; Gangadhar Maharaj and Advocate Abhinav Sharma, former president of BAR Association Jammu.
All the dignitaries expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Chairman Sant Sri Hare Ram Das Ji Maharaj for revitalizing the heritage and significance of Sanskrit.
They also commended the efforts of all the members of Sri Shiv Mandir Nyas Trust in spreading education while nurturing moral values in the lives of young learners.
