NC committed to fulfilling all poll promises: Sadhotra

JAMMU, Jan 11: National Conference (NC) additional general secretary and former minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today reaffirmed his party’s commitment to fulfilling all its poll promises and steering Jammu and Kashmir toward a new era of peace, prosperity, and development.
“Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is working relentlessly to solve the problems facing all sections of society,” Sadhotra said during a one day convention held at Bishnah which was organized by Pt Sham Lal (block president) and Ch Naresh Bittu (district president, Jammu Rural).
“The massive mandate in the 2024 elections reflects the trust and faith of the people in the NC’s leadership and its policies. Our political philosophy revolves around the welfare of the common people, and we remain steadfast in delivering on all our commitments,” he said.
Reiterating the party’s resolve, Sadhotra added, “NC is committed to addressing the aspirations of people from all regions and sub-regions of J&K. We stand united to safeguard the rights and dignity of the people, ensuring that no one is left unheard or unattended.”
The former minister urged the party cadre to intensify public outreach efforts, identify the concerns of the people, and work toward resolving them by raising them at appropriate forums for prompt redressal.
Arjun Singh Raju (MLA Ramban) addressing the event reaffirmed commitment to upholding the NC’s rich legacy of service and delivering on its vision for a prosperous and inclusive J&K.
Tarsem Khullar (former BSP president) also joined NC on the occasion. Sadhotra and other leaders welcomed Khullar into the party fold.
Prominent among those present at the convention included Mohd Ayoub Malik (provincial secretary), Surit Singh Manhas (joint secretary), Chander Mohan Sharma (district president) and Raghubir Singh Manhas (district president Jammu).
