SBI donates 75 wheel chairs, 160 barricades to PGI

JAMMU, Jan 13: Under CSR initiative, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle today donated 75 wheel chairs to PGI, Chandigarh for patients and 160 barricades for better traffic management inside the PGI.
In this regard a function was held here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager (CGM) of SBI said, “Through this endeavour the Bank has emphasized its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. This initiative is a part of SBI’s CSR endeavours, reflecting our deep-rooted commitment to community welfare. This occasion is not just donating wheel chairs and barricades, it is about the welfare of the patients which reaffirms the belief of SBI in creating opportunities to support these institutions whenever they require.”
Director PGI and other Senior Officers of the PGI administration appreciated the gesture of SBI towards CSR Activity and assured that it will further strengthen the relationship between PGI and SBI.
Vivek Lal, Director PGIMER, Chandigarh was also present during the programme.
