RAMBAN, Feb 5: On directions of Mission Director, a team from National Health Mission (NHM), J&K conducted an external assessment of District Hospital Ramban under Kayakalp scheme.
The team was headed by Dr. Arun Sharma, MS MCH Gandhi Nagar, Medical College Jammu (National Assessor) NQAS and it comprised of Virender Vikram, AMEO, NHM, J&K (Internal Assessor) and Jahangir Mehta, DPM Doda, NHM, J&K (Internal Assessor) along with MS Ramban Dr. Virender Trishal.
The NHM team conducted an external assessment of District Hospital Ramban under Kayakalp scheme.
All the departments were thoroughly inspected by the team members as per Kayakalp guidelines.
Kayakalp scheme was introduced in the year 2021 to promote cleanliness, hygiene and infection control practices in public health facilities and to incentivize and reorganize such public healthcare facilities that show exemplary performance in adhering to standards protocols of cleanliness and infection control.
