JAMMU, Feb 5: Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) has expressed concern over the rise in number of theft cases in Jammu as the same have created panic among the local population.
Addressing a press conference here today, SSH J&K president, Rajesh Kesri urged the authorities to take immediate action and address the issue to ensure safety and security of the people.
“SSH will continue to raise voice to ensure that the people of J&K get justice and security they deserve,” he said.
Kesri further said shopkeepers in Jammu district are living in fear due to surge in theft cases.
“Though cops are working hard to address the issue but more needs to be done to ensure safety and security of the people,” Kesri maintained adding: “Police should increase patrols and enhance surveillance in vulnerable areas.”
