ACB Raids Ladakh University Over Alleged Misuse Of Funds

Leh, Feb 6: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Vigilance, Ladakh, conducted a Joint Surprise Check (JSC) at Ladakh University Campus, Taru-Thang, following reports of alleged misuse of official positions and government funds.
Acting under the directions of Chief Vigilance Officer Dr. Pawan Kotwal and ACB Superintendent of Police Piyush Fulzele, a team led by Inspector Jigmet Singay Wangdus carried out the operation.
The team, comprising SI Welayat Ali, SI Chuskit Angmo, and ASI Konchok Dorji, conducted raids at the university premises on February 5.
During the operation, numerous documents related to past financial transactions, including purchase records and stock details, were seized for further scrutiny.
