UDHAMPUR, Feb 6: Police arrested three narco smugglers at Tikri and seized 8.80 grams of heroin like substance from their possession.
The accused narco smugglers were travelling in a vehicle (Alto car) bearing Registeration number JK02AL-8831, which was on its way from Jammu towards Udhampur and intercepted by a team from Police Post Tikri,
The arrested persons have been identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Tara Chand of Seen Brahmana, Udhampur; Anil Kumar, son of Hans Raj of Seen Brahmana, Udhampur and Mushtaq Mohd, son of Bashir Mohd of Samole, Udhampur.
In this connection, a case FIR number 20/2025 under sections 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal and further investigation is going on.
