Sarazi Samajik Sammelan to be held on Feb 9 in Jammu

JAMMU, Feb 6: Saraz Civil Society has announced that the annual Sarazi Samajik Sammelan will be held on February 9 at Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. This was disclosed by representatives of the society while addressing a press conference here today.
The event aims to celebrate and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Saraz community, which primarily resides in the districts of Ramban, Doda, and Kishtwar. According to the organizers, the Sammelan will feature a series of vibrant cultural performances by prominent artists from these regions, showcasing the traditional art, music, and language of the Saraz community.
The Saraz Civil Society has extended an open invitation to all members of the Saraz community, including those who have migrated to Jammu and other districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The organizers have encouraged attendees to bring along their family and loved ones to participate in this cultural celebration.
Speaking at the press conference, representatives of the Saraz Civil Society emphasized their continuous efforts since 2014-15 to preserve and promote the art, culture and linguistic heritage of the Saraz community.
