JAMMU, Feb 14: Special Judge Anti-corruption Kathua Parveen Pandoh today granted seven days police remand of Patwari namely Sudershan Khajuria, who was caught red handed by the ACB team while accepting bribe Rs 15000.
The accused Sudershan Khajuria, Patwari Halqa Khanpur Khas was produced before the court in custody by DySP Sureen Jeet Singh of Police Station ACB Jammu, for grant of 12 days police remand.
After perusal of the application for remand, medical report of the accused and case diary, the court said, investigation of the case is at initial stage and offence allegedly committed by the accused is heinous in nature. Hence, the accused is remanded to police custody for a period of 7 days”.
“The accused shall be produced before the competent court on 20.02.2025”, the court directed.
