JAMMU: The government on Monday reconstituted the Board of Directors (BoDs) of Jammu and Kashmir Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC Development Corporation.
As per government order number 239-GAD of 2025 dated October 17, 2025, in suppression of all previous orders regarding constitution of BoDs for SC, ST and OBC Development Corporation, The Minister, Social Welfare Department shall be the new chairperson of the corporation.
The order further said that Administrative Secretaries of Finance Department, Social Welfare Department, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department; Tribal Affairs Department; and Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department shall be the directors of the corporation; representative of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India; Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, representative of the National Schedule Caste Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi; representative of the National Schedule Tribal Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi; representative of National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi; representative of National Safai Karamchairs Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi; representative of the National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi; representative of the National Minorities Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi shall be the nominee directors of the corporation and Managing Director, J&K SC, ST, BC Corporation shall be director/member secretary of the corporation.
