JAMMU, Feb 20: The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) has booked two family members of IAS officer Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, along with him, in a case of amassing assets disproportionate to known sources of income.

Seven premises of Ranjan, who is posted as Secretary of Labour and Employment Department in Jammu and Kashmir, were searched by the CBI yesterday.
Two family members of Ranjan who have also been named in the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the CBI have been identified as Kirpa Shankar Roy and Dulari Devi. Besides them, unknown others have also been named in the case.
The CBI yesterday searched seven locations of Ranjan including his offices and houses in Jammu and Srinagar besides other places in Gurugram, Varanasi and Patna.
