JAMMU, Mar 4: Mahindra today launched its Light Commercial Vehicle – Veero CNG at a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakhs, ex-showroom.
The Mahindra Veero is based on the company’s commitment to offering a sustainable and clean mobility experience. The vehicle was showcased in September 2024 and has been launched today.
The Mahindra Veero CNG is claimed to be suitable for any kind of cargo. The cargo capacity of the Veero is 1.4 tons and the cargo length of 3,035mm.
Veero CNG offers a mileage of 19.2 km/kg.
Apart from the CNG tank, it also gets a 4.5-litre petrol tank.
The 150-litre CNG tank gives a range of 480 km and with the petrol tank, the Veero is capable of delivering a mileage of more than 500 km.
Mahindra has also ensured best-in-class safety features in the Veero CNG.
The Veero CNG has an AIS096 crash test safety certificate with features like a driver-side airbag, high-strength steel construction and a false start avoidance system.
Mahindra also claims a good driving experience with an air conditioner, reclining driver’s seat, a first-in-segment TFT cluster, Engine Start-Stop, Power mode and a driver fuel coaching system.
The turbo-CNG delivers peak power and torque outputs of 89.84 HP and 210 Nm, respectively.
The two trims of the Mahindra Veero are – 1.4 XXL SD V2 CNG and 1.4 XXL SD V4 (A) CNG, priced at Rs 8.99 lakh and Rs 9.39 Lakh, respectively.
The Mahindra Veero CNG will lock horns with the Maruti Suzuki Super Carry and Ashok Leyland Dost CNG.
