Asmita Judo City League 2024-25 concludes

JAMMU, Mar 9: The Asmita Judo City League 2024-25 concluded today at Pargo Memorial Shiksha Kendar, Gurha Manhasan, Jammu, with over 100 female judokas participating in the championship. The event was organized by the Judo Association Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Ajay Singh, Vice Principal of Pargo Memorial Shiksha Kendar, graced the event as the chief guest and presented medals and certificates to the winners and participants. Suraj Sharma, General Secretary of the Judo Association Jammu & Kashmir and Jagdish Singh were the guests of honour, while Anu, a social activist, was the special guest on the occasion.
The winners who won gold medals include, Aarya Chib (28kg), Surbhi (32kg), Rachita (36kg), Pinky (40kg), Khushi (52kg), Ishani (57kg), Mansi (44kg), Anjali (48kg), Khushi (63kg), Sunakshi Devi (57kg), Shabnam (18kg), Aaruhi (20kg), Anshika (28kg), Mahika (25kg), Sunalika (30kg) and Mahvish (23kg).
Silver Medalists: Mahima (28kg), Shalu (32kg), Khushi (36kg), Kamini (40kg), Koutiva (52kg), Sonia (57kg), Deepika (44kg), Senaha (48kg), Lakshmi (63kg), Anu Sharma (57kg), Priyal (15kg), Mannat (20kg), Suhani (28kg), Mehaj (25kg), Ridhima (30kg) and Aaruhi (23kg).
Bronze Medalists: Mahi Vemra (28kg), Muskan (28kg), Mannat (32kg), Nitika (32kg), Kaviya (36kg), Chandni (36kg), Monika (40kg), Anvi (40kg), Sonia (52kg), Ishani (52kg), Sabika (44kg), Anju (44kg), Sumakha (48kg), Samriti (48kg), Anaya (15kg), Anaya Varma (18kg), Rafia (20kg), Mahi (20kg), Akshita (28kg), Kanika (28kg), Vinamika (25kg), Sonakshi (25kg).
The championship featured fierce bouts officiated by Manish Chatwal, Judo Instructor, along with Sunakshi Devi, Anju Rajak and Lakshmi Devi.
