JAMMU, Mar 10: Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj (ABS), a social volunteer organization today expressed concern over the damaged iron bridge on Balol Nallah near Bagh-E-Bhour.
In a statement issued, the organization noted it with concern that base sheets of Iron Bridge on Balol River near Bagh-E-Bhour are damaged, rusted, dilapidated and tattered at multiple places.
Due to which the people are facing hurdle in crossing damaged bridge, but due to none other option to reach their destination they cross the bridge at the risk of life and property as it is only approaching point over Balol River.
Protecting iron guards on the both ends of the bridge are already damaged, posing ugly face and showing bad image near tourist place, it is feared that base sheets of the bridge may fall any time and cause accident.
The organization reiterated that there is a dire need of repairing / construction of bridge at place.
