Cluster University of Jammu inks MoU with DBU

JAMMU, Mar 12: Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) and Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Punjab, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster academic excellence, research collaboration, and professional growth for students and faculty members.
The MoU was signed by Ankur Mahajan, Registrar CLUJ and the Registrar of DBU, in the presence of senior officials and academic leaders from both the institutions.
Dr. K.S Chandrasekar, Vice-Chancellor of CLUJ provided a comprehensive presentation outlining University’s vision and initiatives while Pooja, Director Placement at DBU, presented an overview of DBU’s academic and industry engagement programmes.
Primary objectives of this partnership are organization of job fairs, industry-specific workshops, internship and placement drives, collaborative research projects and academic exchange programmes.
As part of this initiative, both universities will jointly host a job fair in April 2025 at CLUJ creating valuable opportunities for students to connect with industry professionals and explore career pathways.
The signing ceremony was graced by Dr. K.S Chandrasekar (Vice-Chancellor, CLUJ), Ankur Mahajan (Registrar, CLUJ), Deans, Principals of constituent colleges and FA/CAO.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. D.S Manhas, Director Placement Cell at CLUJ.
