JAMMU: Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown on Sunday installed Rtn. Meenakshi Bhasin and Rtn. Chakshu Kapoor as President and Secretary of the club for the year 2021-22 respectively in a programme held here.
Dr. Upinder Singh Ghai was the Chief Guest and the installing officer of today’s ceremony while Dr. Dushyant Choudhary was the Guest of Honour.
Other dignitaries present were Arwinder Ghai, Dr. P.S Grover and his wife, Zonal Chairman Sunil Sawhney, Narinder Pal and Assistant Governor Rtn. Jaswant Rai Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Rtn. Dr. Puneet Kapoor threw light on the performance of the club during his presidentship and said that the various projects conducted for the improvement of the society and well being of the human race.
Newly elected Meenakshi Bhasin in her speech discussed future plans to work for the moto ‘serve to change lives’ and promised to work with great enthusiasm and dedication for the society.
