STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul in his four-day tour to Reasi, Udhampur, Ramban and Doda chaired District Level Panchayati Raj Training Workshops of DDC Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen, DDC Members, BDC Chairmen and President and Vice-Presidents of Municipal Council and Committee of BJP. The motive of workshops was to educate newly elected representatives about their role to serve the people. Also, educate them about Panchayati Raj and the 73rd and 74th Amendment Act and how to use their powers for the betterment of the people. Ashok Kaul took stock of the ongoing “Sewa Hi Sangathan” programme and asked representatives to ensure that every needy people gets help from us and not get disappointed in these difficult times. Kaul informed the workers about the upcoming programmes and asked them to participate enthusiastically. In the workshops, the main speakers were Former Minister Sat Sharma, J&K BJP Vice President Shakti Parihar, J&K BJP General Secretaries Sunil Sharma and Dr. Devinder Manyal, J&K BJP Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi and J&K BJP Spokesperson Adv. R.S. Pathania. The workshops were also attended by BJP Senior Leaders, BJP District Incharges and Co-Incharges, BJP District Presidents, BJP District General Secretaries and BJP Mandal Presidents.
