JJB Jammu holds COVID-19 awareness camp

JAMMU: Amid the ongoing pandemic, Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), Jammu organized free medical-cum-awareness camp in collaboration with Directorate of Indian System of Medicine at Observation Home, RS Pura here under the guidance of State Mission Director Shabnam Kamili.
The camp was inaugurated by the Principal Magistrate Jyoti Bhagat along with members of Board, Dr Cheahta Sharma and Nischint Panchnanda, LCPO Juhi in presence of the staff of the Observation Home.
During ramp, the team of doctors constituting Dr. D.K Sharma, Dr. Sandeep Bhagat and Dr Titiksha Sharma were made children aware about the ongoing pandemic COVID-19 and the precautions which should be taken to fight against coronavirus like wearing masks, using sanitizers, washing of hands and maintaining of social distancing. Doctors also sensitized the children and staff of the Observation Home about the benefits of immunity booster medicines which help them to boost their immunity and benefits of yoga in current situation. On the occasion, the visiting team of doctors distributed immunity boosting medicines kits. Addressing on the occasion, JJB Jammu expressed gratitude to the entire team of doctors for organizing such camp.
The camp was arranged by following proper SoPs by Incharge Bal Asharam, Vikrant.
