JAMMU: Himalayan Degree College Rajouri student namely Aisha Kouser daughter of Ghulam Mustafa presently studying in BA 2nd Semester has brought laurels for the institution as well as the entire Pir Panjal range by exhibiting exceptional performance in an All India level extempore speech making competition on the topic “Politics and Public Administration” organised in a virtual mode by Lovely Professional University, Punjab.
She outshined scores of participants from all over India and got Ist position in Jammu and Kashmir UT and 2nd position in the country.
She has received accolades from many academic and social circles from across the country for her phenomenal performance .
The college management extended hearty congratulations to this brighter daughter of the soil and announced a medal of excellence, a citation and other awards to be presented to her shortly in a ceremony. Besides having an excellent academic career she is also aspiring for UPSC and is seriously engaged in her studies to achieve this feat.
