PDTA observes International Day against Drug Abuse

POONCH: Poonch District Taekwondo Association (PDTA) under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) in collaboration with Poonch Taekwondo Academy on Saturday organized an awareness campaign on the International Day against Drug Abuse at Poonch.
All the young players of taekwondo along with Executive Member’s of District Taekwondo Association took part in this awareness campaign with great zeal and enthusiasm and by following all the COVID Guidelines.
Speaking on the occasion, Priyanka Singh, Secretary PDTA requested to the youth of Poonch to participate in sports and ‘Say No to Drugs’ so that their energy will be channelize in positive manner.
Rajinder Singh, Physical Education Teacher of Department of Youth Services and Sports, who is the founder of Taekwondo in District Poonch, also took part in this campaign with an aim to create awareness about issues related to drugs and strengthening action and cooperation in order to make world free of drug.
He also request to District administration to take strict action against the culprits who involved in illegal drug dealing. He also said that drug users have no future and advised to youth to took part in sports to channelise their energy in right direction.
During the campaign all players held pamphlets of anti-drug to give awareness message under the overall guidance of Amit Sharma, Organising Secretary of Poonch District Taekwondo Association.
