Former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray today addressed the media for the first time after stepping down. The MVA earlier today moved the Supreme Court seeking suspension of 39 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs till the deputy speaker decides the disqualification petitions filed against them. Petitions were also filed by the Eknath Shinde faction. The top court said it would consider Maharashtra issue only on July 11. A two-day special session of the Maharashtra legislature will be held from July 3, while the election for the post of Speaker will be held on July 3. Stay with TOI for all the latest developments —
