JK Public School Kunjwani celebrates 74th Republic Day with fervour

JAMMU: The spirit of true patriotism was revived when JK Public School Kunjwani celebrated 74th Republic Day with much adulation and fervour to pay homage to Mother India at its school premises.
The programme commenced with the unfurling of the Tricolour by the Director JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary, Principal Rajesh Rathore accompanied by Vice Principal Shashi Rattan followed by National Anthem. There was a large gathering of students and teachers.
The assembly included thought, News Headlines, Speeches on the History and importance of Republic Day and on Constitutional Rights & Duties.
A patriotic song was sung by the school choir. Hindi poems dedicated to the Nation were recited by Nimish of Class 8th and Krishna Bhardwaj of Class XI. Dances by the students of middle wing mesmerized the audience. A dance with dialogues by the students of class VI-X stole the show.
The Principal Rajesh Rathore enthralled the audience with his oratorical skills. He said, “on this Republic Day, let us remember and pay tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, who fought for the independence and sovereignty of our nation”.
“Let’s also remember that we have to slog day in & day out, as we have made promises to keep & miles to go before we sleep. It is our collective responsibility to build a better future for all and to create a more equitable and prosperous society. On this Republic Day, let us renew our commitment to building a strong and vibrant India that is respected and admired by the world”, he further added.
Our nation desperately needs the binding force of brotherhood and fraternity. He made a clarion call to remain united, come what may! To charge up the atmosphere with patriotism and josh, he sang a song ‘Dekho Veer Jawaano Apne Khoon Pe Ye Ilzaam Na Aaye’ in his melodious voice to motivate the students.
He lauded students for presenting a heart-warming & soul-touching cultural programme, which received thunderous applause from the audience incessantly. The programme reached its culmination point with the thunderous chanting of “Bhaarat Mata Ki Jai”.
