Six-member panel to examine, recommend cases for publication of books/mediainteractions of AIS members

JAMMU: The government on Wednesday constituted a six-member panel for examining and recommending cases for publication of books/ media interactions of members of All India Services.
“Sanction is accorded to the constitution of a Committee, for examining and recommending cases related to permission(s)/ sanction(s) for publication of books and media interactions of Members of All India Services in terms of All India Services (Conduct) Rules, 1968,” reads an order issued by Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner /Secretary, General Administration Department.
As per order, the committee will be headed by Administrative Secretary, ARI & Trainings Department as its Chairman while Additional Secretary, General Administration Department (AIS Section) will be its Member Secretary and Administrative Secretary, Information Department, Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department, Administrative Secretary, Culture Department and Representative of Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs will be its Members.
