Jammu: A 19-year-old youth was killed in a scuffle over some issue in Rajouri district on Saturday, however both accused persons were arrested within hours of crime, police said.
As per details, a docket was received at Police Station Budhal that one Balwijnder Singh, aged 19 years, son of Suraj Ram, resident of Keero Khawas, was attacked by two persons, due to which he got killed. The accused were identified as Kuldeep Singh, son of Vakil Singh and Kaka, son of Abdul Shakoor of Dasal Jatan, Rajouri, who fled away after committing crime.
An FIR 69/21 under sections 302/452/34 of IPC and 4/25 of Arms Act was registered and police parties were deputed to search and arrest accused. A police party led by SHO Mushtak Ahmed successfully tracked and arrested accused within few hours of commission of offence. Further, legal proceedings in the matter are under progress.
