Plant more trees

Dear Editor,
Trees have been essential aspects of nature that have provided us with resources to sustain life. Since our ancestors discovered that trees have been providing us food, shade, wood, and flowers, they started worshipping them as a sign of gratitude, and a request to those trees continue providing them those resources. It is only because of trees and other natural resources that the Earth is habitable.
It is not only oxygen or food that trees provide us, but trees are also responsible for controlling soil erosion, water purification, climate change, biodiversity. A considerable contribution to the health industry is from the trees because they are the source of many life-saving medicines. Our economy would fall apart if trees were in crisis right now. As a habitat for several species, trees mean that deforestation would also suggest taking away the lives of those living organisms.
The areas with a lesser number of trees are hotter and dry, even more polluted.
Trees act like a natural ventilator that purifies the air and balances the temperature of the climate.
Trees and their by-products are used for the manufacturing of goods and also to build things. Trees also are used for social activities like climbing and hiking or trekking trees to create a beautiful view.
Trees provide raw materials to the industry, and primarily wood is used for creating the paper. A lot of timber is required in the paper industry, and it also results in the cutting of trees resulting in deforestation. The ruthless exploitation of trees for human activities has impacted the natural flow of the ecosystem, and no doubt that global warming is just another adverse effect of the extended act.
Millions of species are lost because of the lesser number of trees.
People need to be educated about the benefits of planting trees, and before that, they need to understand the situations that will be created against them if there are many trees every day.
We are already almost twenty years late for the right time to plant trees. The only to heal this Earth that we have been continuously torturing is by planting trees and being cautious about using products. Planting more trees will only benefit us by enhancing our life with improvements in our social and economic well-being.
