STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Nitish Mahajan, State Executive Member of Bharatiya Janata Party, J&K and co Incharge Sewa Hi Sanghatan, J&K has felicitated the doctors and healthcare workers on the occasion of ‘World Doctors Day’. In a statement issued to media here today, the BJP leader said, “Doctors are only next to God as they are the only hope for the people in times of distressed health conditions. I salute the Doctors’ fraternity for the unprecedented services rendered by them especially during the first and second wave of COVID-19 pandemic that has already taken a heavy toll of precious lives including that of a large number of doctors across the nation.” Lauding the doctors for their devoted efforts in fighting the deadly virus from the forefront least bothering about their own life, thus saving millions of lives across the nation, he said that by providing the much needed medical treatment and services to the people amidst the tough conditions during the Corona pandemic they proved beyond any doubt that they are really next to God. He said that it is for this reason that the medical profession is considered to be the noblest profession on the earth. While congratulating the Medical fraternity on the World Doctors’ Day the Bharatiya Janata Party leader asserted that the Nation will soon win the ongoing battle against Covid due to the relentless efforts and selfless services rendered by the doctors.
