Centres of Excellence: JKSC advertises posts

JAMMU: Finally, a beginning has been made for establishing world class Centres of Excellence in the disciplines of Fencing and Rowing (Water Sports) at Jammu and Srinagar respectively.
For these fully Government of India sponsored sports facilities, the governing body, J&K Sports Council (JKSC) has started the recruitment process with the issuance of recruitment advertisement notice.
As per the notice, the Fencing Centre, to be established at New Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here would be set up under the guidance of experienced High Performance Manager, who will be paid a monthly remuneration between Rs 1,00,000- 1,50,000. Another similar position is meant for Rowing Centre at Srinagar in Kashmir.
Applications have been invited from the individuals, to be engaged for a period of four years with period performance analysis, with last date of July 31.
Besides High Performance Manager, each Centre would have Assistant Coach (Upper age limit of 45 yrs), Young Professional (32 yrs), Nutritionist/Dietician (40 yrs), Masseur (two- 35 yrs); Strength and Conditioning Trainer (45 yrs), Conditioning Expert (45 yrs) and Physiotherapist (45 yrs).
