SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reported 338 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (, 100 from Jammu division and 238 from the Kashmir division, thus taking the tally to 316629.
“Also two Covid deaths-one each in the Jammu Division and the Valley have been reported during the past 24 hours”, officials said
Moreover, 497 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 177 from Jammu Division and 320 from Kashmir Division.
Besides this, 87.84 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.
The Bulletin also informs that 01 confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 30 in the UT of J&K.
According to the daily Media, out of 316629 positive cases, 4048 are Active Positive, 308246 have recovered and 4335 have died; 2113 in Jammu division and 2222 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 10138591 test results available, 9821962 samples have been tested as negative till today.
