JAMMU: JKAS retired officers on Saturday thanked the UT Government and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary Arun Mehta in particular for taking extra pain in solving the long pending issue regarding finalization of KAS seniority.
The spokesman of the fraternity Soujanya Sharma told that the issue has been resolved and the grades have been released accordingly in favour of retired officer retrospectively.
“The offers who worked with dedication during their service have at last have been rewarded by the Govt,” he said and added “The gesture by the Govt administration will go a long way in boosting the morale of the retired officers in fulfilling their commitment to the society and the UT at large.”
