Apni Party emerges as hope among people: Vikram

JAMMU: Apni Party, General Secretary Vikram Malhotra on Saturday said that Apni Party has emerged as a hope among the people as they support the struggle for restoration of Statehood to J&K.He gave this statement in a joining programme which was organised at the Party Office in Gandhi Nagar. It was organised by Apni Youth Wing, J&K, Vice-President, and Media Coordinator, Raqeeq Ahmed Khan.During the function, General Secretary Vikram Malhotra, and Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh among other leaders were present on the occasion.Prominent leader of PDP and Panch Mohammed Kabir Khan, and another noted leader from Balakote, Mohammed Naseeb Ullah Khan joined Apni Party in presence of the senior leaders during an impressive programme.Provincial Secretary, Dr Rohit Gupta, Apni Trade Union, J&K, President, Ajaz Kazmi, Apni Party leader Yasar Choudhary, Rayasat Khan and others were also present in the joining programme.Welcoming them into the party, Vikram Malhotra said that their joining will help the party to strengthen its roots in Mendhar and Poonch District.He said that the people have pinned their hopes with the Party as they believe in the struggle launched by the Party for the restoration of Statehood. “Apni Party has won the confidence of the people as we represented them on various issues and got the domicile and job protection for the youth,” said Malhotra.He said that J&K faced problems because of the politicians who hardly cared for the people who voted them to power. However, the Apni Party believes that people are supreme in democracy and their problems should be addressed in a democratic manner. “We have tried to become the voice of the people regardless of region, religion, caste, creed or other identity. We work for the unity and integrity of J&K,” said Malhotra.
The Former Minister, and Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh also welcomed them into the Party and said that the joining of prominent people from Poonch has given a boost to the cadre. “We have a promise which is achievable without making emotional speeches or misleading people with hollow promises,” he said.He appealed to both the leaders to strengthen the party and work among the people on the ground to know about the policies and programmes of the party. “We work for development, peace, prosperity and employment. Our struggle for restoration of Statehood will continue till its logical conclusion,” he said.
He said that the Apni Party will never compromise on the issues of the people. J&K Apni Youth Wing Vice-President Raqeeq Ahmed Khan highlighted various problems being faced by the people of Mendhar. He expressed concern over underdevelopment of many areas along the Line of Control in Mendhar. He said that the people face hardship due to poor infrastructure and road connectivity. “In many villages, people still fetch water from the natural resources in absence of tap water,” alleged Khan.He said that health institutions in rural areas need revamp and deployment of adequate numbers of doctors. He said that the people are suffering because of the unavailability of basic amenities.
