STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Farmers Producers Organization (FPOs) has to play significant role in varied problems of farmers in JKUT. Chairing a meeting by Secretary co-operation to review the progress in JKUT in the formation of FPOs Vijay Sharma chairman Team Mask Force while welcoming the move of Union Government and PM’S seriousness of the issue because of charge of Ministry of Co-operation being placed at the disposal of HM Amit Shah during the Erstwhile expansion of Union Ministry. PM call for formation of 10,000 FPOs itself reveal the concern of Union Government in finding way out of Kissan Andolan. Soon thereafter taking over the charge of Secretary of Department of Co-operation JKUT by Yasha Mudgal a wave of current has flown within the department and has boosted large scale of activities in the department of Co-operation. Sharma praised the vibrancy of Secretary cooperation and hoped under her able guidance department of co-operation would bring the hope of reviving the co-operative movement in JKUT at large.Sharma further hoped and appealed to Secretary to streamline the Department and speeden up its activity by strictly monitoring the outcome of various decisions in the meetings.
