POONCH: Organised by Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club under the banner of Volleyball Association of J&K (VAJK), Refree Clinic got underway on Saturday.
The camp, wherein 35 senior players are taking part, was declared open by SSP Poonch, Vinod Kumar, who was chief guest. Speaking to the gathering of participants and members of the organising club, the SSP appreciated Mohd Tariq (chairman) for promoting the game of Volleyball.
The participants in this camp belongs to J&K, Ladakh and neighbouring state of Punjab and the technical team is led by expert from Volleyball Federation of India (VFI), Rameshwar Chauhan.
Among others present included Krishan Lal Sharma (secretary Volleyball Association of Poonch), Sayeed Habib (chairman Jamia Zai ul Uloom High School), Pradeep Khanna, Mohd Qasim (DYSSO Poonch), Neeraj Kumar and Ramiz Tariq.
