JAMMU: The Government on Tuesday constituted teams of officers for monitoring COVID-19 containment measures in the Civil Secretariat, Jammu/Srinagar.
“Sanction is accorded to the constitution of teams of officers for monitoring adherence to COVID Appropriate Behaviour especially wearing of face masks and observing social distancing norms within the premises of Civil Secretariat, Jammu and Srinagar,” reads an order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD).
“The teams shall conduct random surprise checks of all departments and report employees resorting to inappropriate COVID Behaviour to the GAD for appropriate disciplinary action,” it added.
Team for Civil Secretariat, Jammu comprised of Girdhari Lal, Deputy Secretary, GAD and Rameshwar Kumar, Under Secretary, GAD while the team for Civil Secretariat, Srinagar include Malik Suhail, Deputy Secretary, GAD and Shuaib Mohammad Naikoo, Under Secretary, GAD.
