Elaborate arrangements made for ‘Shravan Maas’ at Haridwar: JYBT

JAMMU: President of Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT), Jammu/Haridwar, Pawan Kumar Shastri, on Monday said that the Trust has made elaborate arrangements for “Shravan Maas” at its Haridwar Bhawan commencing on the auspicious day of July 16 to August 22, 2021. He was addressing a press conference here today.
“On this auspicious occasion all Hindu rituals shall be performed for the prosperity of the universe in general and for the devotees associated with the Trust in particular during this month,” he said adding that Trust is also going to perform Eleven (Rudhra Abhishek) per day through the learnt Pandit.
Devotees who intend to perform Rudhra Paath with Rudhra Abhishek for the prosperity of their family can fill up the prescribed form available at our Head office, Jammu or Haridwar office, Trust on their behalf shall perform Paath through its learnt Pandit which they can watch on Facebook Page of Jammu Yatri Bhawan while sitting at home, he said adding that the devotees can also be put on live on Zoom App.

“Each day during Shravan month is auspicious for worshipping of Bhagwan Shambu (Shiva).” He said adding that Shravan Maas is also Holy month filled with other festivals such as Durga Ashtami, Gupt Navratri, Guru Purnima, Shravan Shivratri Vrat, Nag Panchami, and Raksha Bandhan.
“This year it has its own religious significance as well as five Somvars are falling during this Shravan Maas i.e. July 19, 26 & 2, 9, 16, August, 2021. The Monday falling in Savan month has a special significance for the devotees,” he said
Each day of the Shravan Maas has also a special spiritual significance as well, where Monday is dedicated to the worshipping of Lord Shiva, Tuesday is dedicated for the worshipping of Ganesh, Goddess Mata Maha Kali & Lord Hanuman, Wednesday & Thursday for Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna, Friday for Mata Lakshmi & Druga Maa, Saturday for Shani Dev and Sunday for Sun (Suraj Dev), said Pawan Kumar Shastri.
