JAMMU: District Pulwama Rugby Association organised District Championship which was sponsored by J&K Sports Council (KSC) at Saadi Memorial School Payar Road.
As per a handout issued here today by the Association, 10 teams in boys section and as an equal number in girls took part in this championship.
Manager Sports Stadium Pulwama, Bashir Ahmad was the chief guest, who presented medals and title trophies to the winners and runners-up teams. Principal Saadi Memorial School Pulwama, Sheikh Aabid Hameed was guest of honour. Among others present were Mohd. Shafi (secretary District Pulwama Rugby Association), Irshad Ahmad (president) and Dr. B A Mir (organising secretary).
The competition officiated by Mujtaba Hafeez, Aamir Ahmad Kar, Shahid ul Islam, Areed and Ishfaq.
