GMC Kathua emerging as budding epitome of medical education in Jammu province

Kathua: Government’s Idea of starting new medical Colleges in Jammu has worked well with GMC Kathua bagging all top honours in recently declared result of First Professional MBBS examination.
Aditi Bhat with 653 marks stood overall first followed by Jasmine Kaur second scoring 650, Vanshika third scoring 639, Divyanshi 4th scoring 630,Kanish and Urvashi 5th. Kanish Gupta also got Distinction in Biochemistry.
Official Spokesperson of GMC Kathua, Dr Deepak Abrol in a press release said that it was possible only due to hard work of students, consistent effort of faculty of First Professional under leadership of Principal Dr Anjali Nadir Bhat that GMC Kathua could achieve this feat.
Its pertinent to mention that it is just first batch of this college and inspite of all adversities and having studied in a makeshift building, the students have performed extraordinarily well.
Principal GMC Kathua, Dr Anjali Nadir Bhat said that the idea of online classes, online practical demonstrations, online YouTube modules created by Dr Sabita Yograj Coordinator Medical Education Unit has really paid off.
Principal GMC also thanked Additional Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DC Kathua Rahul Yadav and Dr Yashpal Sharma Director Coordination New Medical Colleges for their unending support and patronage to convert this dream into reality.
