JAMMU: International Handball Week, organised by the J&K Handball Association, concluded at Shastri Nagar Playfield, here amidst exhibition matches.
The event took place under the supervision of Association president and former India captain, Ranjit Singh and senior vice president, Ashwani Raina.
Speaking on the occasion, office bearers of the Association pledged to promote the game in a big way. Former International Handball player and vice president of the Association, Renu Rattan, chairman, Narendra Mahajan; vice president, Praval Kumar also encouraged those young players.
Sanjeev Singh Jamwal, Joint Secretary; Sudesh Kumar (former SAI coach); Vinay Sharma and Shekhar Dutta (Handball coach) were among other prominent present.
Speaking to the gathering, Ranjit Singh congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the all the affiliated units of the Association and former international players for their efforts to make the International Handball Week a success.
