Mining contractors, allies booked for assaulting stone crusher owner; other

KATHUA: Police lodged two cases against mining contractors and their allies in two different incidents at Rajbagh.
As per details, on July 18, 2021 at about 4 PM, four persons namely Bhanu Partap Singh, son of Madapur Tehsil Hiranagar; Ravinder Singh, resident of Dinanagar; Rajat Singh, resident of Pathankot and Sunil Singh, resident of Delhi along with 10 others holding deadly weapons, entered office of complainant namely Devi Dayal (owner of stone crusher) and demanded money from him. On refusal, the aforesaid persons assaulted stone crusher owner. On complaint of Devi Dayal, FIR No. 131/2021 under sections 323/506/504/452/147/148/149 of IPC and 3/25,4/25 of Arms Act was registered at Police Station Rajbagh against accused persons.
While in another instance on July 18, 2021 at about 3:30 PM four persons namely Bhanu Partap Singh, resident of Madapur Tehsil Hiranagar; Ravinder Singh, resident of Dinanagar; Rajat Singh, resident of Pathankot and Sunil Singh, resident of Delhi along with 8 other persons holding deadly weapons restrained way of complainant namely Shashi at Chadwal and assaulted him for which a FIR No. 132/2021 under sections 341/323/506/504/147/148/149 of IPC and 3/25, 4/25 of Arms Act was registered at Police Station Rajbagh against aforesaid persons. Later, aforesaid persons were arrested by Incharge Police Post Chadwal and a Mahindra Vehicle (JK08K-0017) and Scorpio (PB35N-0553) were seized. A Base-Ball bat, a sharp-edged weapon (Toka) along with a Air Pistol (Black Color) was also recovered from their possession.
