JAMMU: Apni Party’s newly designated Camp President TRT Nagrota Jammu, Chand Ji Bhat on Sunday organized a meeting to discuss various issues being faced by the migrant Kashmiri Pandit community. This was chaired by State Coordinator Displaced Kashmiri Pandits of Jammu Province, Vinod Pandita.
Pandita was accompanied by Sanjay Dhar State Coordinator Displaced Kashmiri Pandits of Kashmir Division and Apni Party leader Vishal Jotshi and Ashok Kumar Koul social activist. Chand Ji Bhat newly designated President of the camp expressed gratitude in the meeting to senior Party leaders and Coordinator Jammu for reposing faith in him and his team.
He assured the party leadership that his team will work dedicatedly for strengthening the party at gross root level in the coming times. Bhat highlighted the urgent genuine demands of the camp like regular supply of pure drinking water, repair and replacement of old defunct sanitary fittings with new ones, internal repair/renovation of dilapidated quarters with proper drainage system forthwith, imparting quality education to migrant students in Government camp schools etc., and appealed for their early addressal.
In his address, Vinod Pandita said that the genuine issues stand already raised with the Relief Commissioner Migrants Jammu and “he is sure that some remedial measures are expected to be taken by him in the coming times in this direction.” He appealed the new team to take the policies and programmes of Apni Party to gross root level and strengthen its base in every nook and corner Two prominent persons Shri Sunil Kumar Koul (Panch) and Vivek Bali Joined Apni Party in the meeting.
Sanjay Dhar in his speech appealed the camp team and new entrants to work dedicatedly for strengthening the party at the gross root level and carry out membership drive vigorously on priority basis. Ravinder Singh, Bansi Lal Raina, Omkar Nath Raina (Vice Presidents), Shubhan Krishan Bhat General Secretary Sanjay Kumar Kachroo Secretary, Raj Nath Bhat Treasurer, Anil Koul org. Secretary , Bharat Ji Mussa and Opinder Krishan Pandita executive members were also present in the meeting.
