Army provide health equipments to PHC Chilli-Pai

Bhadarwah: While extending some relief to the people residing in far-off areas and strengthen basic medical support, Army based at Bhadarwah provided life saving health equipments to primary health centre Chilli-Pai in Gandoh area of Doda on Tuesday.
As part of welfare activities the Army is regularly undertaking a variety of projects for the welfare of poor population.
Indian Army unit located at Bhadarwah conducted a Health Equipment Distribution to Primary Health Centre, Chilli Pai at Gandoh area of Doda and provide medical equipment support to the public.
The Gandoh is one of the remote part of District Doda and the people lack basic health care facilities due to the remoteness of the region.
The Indian Army unit located at Bhadarwah identified the critical need of public and took initiative to augment the Health Care Facility by providing Basic Medical Equipment like ECG machine, BP Apparatus, Medical Examination Bed, Weight Machine and Nebulisers at Primary Health Centre, Chilli Pai. People from 8 major Panchayats will get benefit by this initiative of Indian Army.
The event was inaugurated by Second-in-Command of Rashtriya Rifles in presence of Company Commander, SDM Gandoh, SDPO Gandoh and CMO Doda.
Sarpanch, Chilli Pai thanked the Army for humane endeavour in conducting such Medical assistance in wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
He said, “such people friendly efforts by the army will have long lasting impact on the populace and connect the local populace with Indian Army.”
Naib Tehsildar, Chilli-Pingal also thanked the Army for uplifting the health care needs of people in such remote areas.
