Jammu: Continuing its drive against menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which teams from Police Stations Arnia, Gharota, Police Posts Manwal and Chatha acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at different locations in their jurisdictions and seized four different vehicles, involved in illegal mining.
The seized vehicles include a JCB (JK02AV 7071) seized by Arnia police; a tractor-trolley without registration number by Gharota police; a tipper (Jk08B/6277) by Manwal police and a load carrier without registration number by Chatha police.
The vehicles were seized by SHO Arnia Insp Harjeet Singh, SHO Gharota Insp Khyatimaan Khajuria, Incharge Police Post Manwal Insp Vikram Singh Jasrotia and Incharge Police Post Chatha Insp Rakesh Roshan in their respective jurisdictions.
